Outstanding tin litho and polystyrene clockwork Sam the City Gardener by Marx. Works great and comes with all seven original tools. The toy features a tin litho wheelbarrow with one wooden wheel in front and two pressed tinplates on the back. Sam is all hard polystyrene plastic with red and brown painted features. Includes seven, in-scale, plastic polystyrene tools; pitchfork, hoe, rake, shovel, pick ax, hand ax, and spade. Wind up clockwork motor powers the wheelbarrow which causes Sam to move his legs freely to give it the appearance of walking. Toy works great and looks fantastic. Size: 8" tall, 4" wide and 8" long.
